The
Dining Room

The
dining table and sideboard were pieces that Mr. and Mrs. Rogers acquired
and were sold to Maggie and Jon along with the house after Mr. Roger's
death. The leaves on the table fold inward converting this table to
a smaller size. At one time, Mr. and Mrs. Rogers were very social and
entertained frequently - the swinging kitchen door was to keep the kitchen
out of view and provided easy access for servants.
The
bright red rug is an antique of unknown origins. The light fixture is
original to the house.
The
window treatments and chair backs were designed and made by Lisa Garrison.
The
Rogers House is available not only for overnight guest; it is perfect
for small meetings, dinner parties, outdoor weddings and all prenuptial
events.
The
dining room or the back garden areas are perfect venues for birthdays
and anniversary parties. The Rogers House offers turn-key party planning.
